Welcome to Osprey Farm Studio

About us

Osprey Farm Studio is a purpose-driven garden and studio set in the scenic countryside of Sörmland, just about an hour south of Stockholm. Here food experiences, regenerative farming, artisan crafts, and sustainable architecture come together in harmony. Join us for a vibrant farmers market, ceramics workshops, creative courses, corporate events, or family celebrations. Whether you're planning a team retreat, a ceramics class, or simply want to enjoy our farm shop and market — you're warmly welcome.

Growing, Gardening and Culinary Craft

Discover the Farm at Osprey Farm Studio

Our farm is home to a thriving forest garden featuring diverse varieties of fruits, berries, vegetables, herbs, flowers, and two greenhouses. You'll also find a pond, beehives, and insect hotels that contribute to a flourishing, biodiverse ecosystem. During summer (July to September), visit our beloved farmers market and stop by our newly opened farm shop and café. Our farming approach is rooted in sustainability — primarily following the “no-dig” method. This organic technique involves building compost beds directly on top of the soil: approximately 40 cm high, 75 cm wide, and either 7 or 15 meters long, with 50 cm between beds. These beds are ideally left covered for two seasons to suppress weeds. We don’t mix compost into the soil — we plant directly into it. This preserves soil moisture, minimizes weeding, and lets the earthworms do the digging. Fertilizers enrich the soil naturally, and we avoid disturbing the vital microorganisms that nourish plants and build soil structure. To us, soil is a living, breathing organism — a complex ecosystem in its own right. Our goal goes beyond sustainability; we aim to create a net positive impact on the environment.

Architecture, Ceramics and Craft

Inside the Studio at Osprey Farm Studio

From soil to table, we create experiences that tell stories about sustainability, biodiversity, and our shared future. The studio is a living space where ceramics, natural materials, and eco-conscious architecture come together in a collaborative process. Clay, soil, and wood are our core materials. Our ceramics practice is rooted in mindfulness and timing — drying and shaping requires patience and care. We’re inspired by age-old utilitarian forms, the vessels once used by our ancestors to cook and eat. Their spirit lives on in the work of our hands. Architecture, like farming, is born from the land. Humanity’s first homes grew from agriculture. We believe in a deep connection between craftsmanship and architecture — creating spaces people care for and feel responsible toward is, in our view, the ultimate strategy for building truly sustainable communities and cities.
